The product sheet of the game Resident Evil Village has just been updated on the Microsoft Store, and we learn that the game should take about 50GB of space.
While the release of Resident Evil Village is not scheduled before May 7, Microsoft has just leaked the size of the game’s download file. The product sheet on the Microsoft Store has just been updated and it is specified that the game will take 50.02GB of space. About 15GB of the 50GB should be dedicated to the RE:Verse multiplayer mode, according to the media VG24/7 which relays the information. This weight is only valid for Xbox consoles, whether it’s the Xbox One or the Xbox Series, but generally speaking, the file weight doesn’t differ much between the Xbox version and the one optimized for PlayStation. The file size for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, however, has not yet been revealed. This weight is also only valid for the 1.0 version of the game, and therefore does not include the update that will be made on launch day.
The synopsis of Resident Evil Village is set a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7, although the game will also be inspired by the brilliant Resident Evil 4. As a reminder, the game will be able to take advantage of the free next-gen update for all those who would like to buy it on the old generation consoles, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is available for pre-order for 69.99 euros. If you pre-order the game, you’ll get a survival kit and a bonus weapon accessory. We’ll give you the trailer right below, to familiarize you with the atmosphere and the characters, including the great Lady Dimitrescu, inspired by a serial killer.
